Hypixel Housing permissions
Permissions decide what each group, or role, can do in your house. This page shows exactly where to find the permissions menu, how to edit and toggle permissions, and the safety rules that keep your plot from being griefed. Many players type this as “premissions,” but it means permissions.

Where permissions are located
From the main Housing menu, permissions can be managed using the bottom middle paper icon.
How to edit a group (role)
After clicking on a group, click the button on the far right (paper icon) to manage its permissions.
This opens the permissions editing menu.
Permission safety tips
Permissions are power. Do not grant them to random people who ask. Some players are malicious and are looking for a chance to grief your plot.
Build permissions are high risk
Permissions like Build and Offline Build are especially dangerous to give to people you do not know. Hypixel Housing owners are responsible for anything built on their plot, even if they did not build it or ever see it.
Hypixel shows a warning before you enable building permissions, for good reason. This is what that warning looks like.
